Day 97

--Happy Easter! On our way back to Firenze, we stopped in Monte Carlo, Monaco. I went through the gardens of the church, and then went to Easter Sunday mass in French. After mass, we caught the “train” tour of Monaco, in which we saw the Casino, the raceway, the palace, and a little more of Monte Carlo in a brief amount of time. We were only in Monaco for such a short amount of time, so I was not able to explore (especially since I spent most of my time there in church). It was still beautiful!

After the bus ride back to Florence, and a crumby Easter dinner, I was able to skype my entire family! It was the first all-family-skype in a long time. It was a three-way skype with my family and myself spread out in three different countries (U.S., Guatemala, and Italy)! It was great to see them all and to enjoy some laughs over the craziness that I have missed so much. I sweat half the conversation was Kristina and I cracking up about things such as Bernie (our dog) getting into the Easter candy. I love you all!
